The gospel is the message of the Bible. It’s a message about God in His holiness (Isaiah 6:3), about man in his sinfulness (Romans 3:23), about Christ in His life and death and resurrection for sinners (Galatians 4:4–5; Romans 5:6–11; 4:25), and about the way of salvation through repentance from sin and faith in Christ (Mark 1:14–15; Ephesians 2:8–9). The gospel is the most important message any of us will ever hear, and if we respond to it by turning from our sin and trusting in Jesus Christ, we will be saved and will have eternal life.
